Job Summary:
One of the largest health services networks in the country is currently seeking an experienced professional to join their staff as their Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer (CDEIO).
The Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer (CDEIO) leads organizational change within the health network to ensure that the culture is imbued with the values of diversity, equity and inclusion.
Provides system wide leadership support for the Health Equity Program. Including developing, coordinating activities that promote system-wide efforts to advance overall health outcomes for patients, and approaches that supports fair, inclusive practices and respect of differences;
Coleads with the Chief Medical Officer the Health Equity strategy; and serve as technical point person and community liaison for equity health policies, programs, and practices across the health system.
Collaborates with the MWBE Officer to support initiatives to improve the Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) program and MWBE representation in procurement opportunities and contracts awarded; co-leads special under-represented categories to help support strategy.
Aligns DEI with business strategies and standards to achieve an optimized workforce that improves outcomes and the patient experience.
Leverages methods, metrics and benchmarks for measuring DEI progress and continuously improving our efforts.
Collaborates with leaders across the organization to implement health equity initiatives that will help drive patient outcomes and reduce healthcare disparities; creates an organization-wide Equity strategy that brings content knowledge and systems to infuse anti-racism, diversity, healthcare disparity and inclusion in all aspects of culture.

Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Hospital, Health Care, Public Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, Community Health, Public Health, or other related discipline.
6+ years’ progressive experience/leadership in Diversity, Health Equity, Inclusion, MWBE Procurement and executive management in a Health Care System/Setting.
Experience leading departments or units working on education of Diversity, Health Equity, Inclusion, MWBE Procurement, etc.
Experience assessing team member needs related to Diversity, Health Equity, Inclusion, MWBE Procurement excellence.
Experience in interpreting health equity data, ensure the quality of the care delivery and outcomes are the same for all patients across they system.
